COVID19
We highly recommend you stay up to date with the most recent COVID19 updates both provincially and federally

ArriveCAN: Prior to your arrival you will be asked to provide proof of Government Identification with ArriveCAN

For a list of vaccines approved by Health Canada, please see the link HERE.  Please note you do not require proof of a negative test before traveling to Canada.

As Covid-19 requirements are constantly changing, please check the Government of Canada's Covid-19 website for all of the most up to date information regarding travel and entry into Canada.

Please ensure that you check your airline’s requirements on testing and vaccination prior to your departure.  If you require a negative test in order to board your flight, Destination Canada Business Events will provide a free PCR and/or rapid antigen test.  As of June 12, 2022, the United States no longer requires proof of negative test prior to travel.

What is the dress code for Incentive Canada?
There will be a number of different activities taking place at Incentive Canada. From city and outdoor excursions (including possible water activities), to business meetings and cocktail receptions, we recommend that you wear what you are comfortable in for each situation. There will not be a dress code for any of the activities. We recommend business casual for daytime events, and a reminder to please bring comfortable footwear and a swimsuit.

What is the weather like in Nova Scotia in July?
The average daily highs in July reach 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit (20-25 Celsius).  Fresh ocean breezes mean evenings can be cooler, in the high 50s and low 60s (14-18 Celsius).

Where will I be staying during Incentive Canada 2022?
You will be enjoying complimentary accommodations at Fox Harb’r Resort and The Westin Nova Scotian for the duration of the event, July 10-13, 2022.  Should you wish to extend your stay, we have secured a preferred rate of $119CAD ($85-90USD, 80-85EUR) plus applicable fees and taxes at The Westin Nova Scotian for three days pre- and three days post-event. We would be pleased to make the arrangements to extend your stay on your behalf.  **A credit card will be required at both hotels upon arrival at check in for additional nights and/or incidentals.

Will my transportation be provided during Incentive Canada?
All transportation to and from Incentive Canada will be provided through our travel booking partner Maritime Travel. After your application to attend Incentive Canada has been approved, we will send you the flight booking information.

All transfers during Incentive Canada will be provided, including to and from Fox Harb’r Resort.

Upon arrival at Halifax Stanfield International Airport, please make your way to the area outside international arrivals where you will be greeted by our Incentive Canada greeters and escorted to your waiting shuttle.

How do I select my Marketplace Appointments?
No need!  Appointments will be booked on your behalf and all clients and partners will have a meeting during Incentive Canada.

What insurance should I have for my trip?
We highly recommend you secure travel health and injury insurance. This insurance will not be provided by Destination Canada’s Business Events team.

How can I ensure my travels internationally into Canada go smoothly, especially at the Border?

To assist with your entry requirements into Canada, we have obtained a Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) clearance letter for Innovate Canada 2022. To facilitate speedy Border procedures it is recommended that all international attendees have a copy of this letter ready for presentation to the CBSA Border Services Officer upon their arrival to Canada. It is available HERE for download.
