Check out this video of our recent Incentive Canada Winter Edition!

What is the dress code for Incentive Canada?
There will be a number of different activities taking place at Incentive Canada. From city and outdoor excursions (including possible water activities), to business meetings, and cocktail receptions we recommend that you wear what you are comfortable in for each situation. During the marketplace meetings we ask that you wear your “Team Canada” uniform which will be provided to you upon registration. There will not be a dress code for any of the activities. Business Casual for the daytime is recommended. Please bring comfortable footwear and a swimsuit.

What should the timing be for my flights?
We ask that you arrive no later than 3:00pm on July 10, 2022 to allow for transfers to The Westin Nova Scotian in time for the partner briefing at 5:00pm.
Departures can take any time after 2:00pm on July 13, 2020.

What is the weather like in Nova Scotia in July?
The average daily highs in July reach 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit (20-25 Celsius). Evenings can be quite cool in the high 50s and low 60s (14-18 Celsius).

Where will I be staying during Incentive Canada 2022?
You will be enjoying complimentary accommodations at Fox Harb’r Resort and The Westin Nova Scotian for the duration of the event, July 10-13, 2022.  Should you wish to extend your stay, we have secured a preferred rate of $249CAD per room, per night, plus applicable fees and taxes for three days pre- and three days post-event. We would be pleased to make the arrangements to extend your stay on your behalf.  **A credit card will be required at both hotels upon arrival at check in for additional nights and/or incidentals.

Will my transportation be provided during Incentive Canada?
All transfers during Incentive Canada will be provided, including to and from Fox Harb’r Resort. You are responsible for your own air transportation to and from Halifax.

Upon arrival at Halifax Stanfield International Airport, please make your way to the area outside international arrivals where you will be greeted by our Incentive Canada greeters and guided to your waiting shuttle for the transfer to The Westin Nova Scotian.

How do I select my Marketplace Meetings?
No need! Meetings will be booked on your behalf and all clients and partners will have a meeting during Incentive Canada.

What should I bring for the Marketplace Appointments?
Each partner will be provided with one 6’ table and chairs. Feel free to bring give-aways, business cards, collateral, tablecloths and décor for your table. No zip banners (unless they are table-top please). If you need any additional items for your table (power, etc), please email
info@incentivecanada.ca and we will do our best to assist.

Will media be onsite for the event?
Yes, there will be several members of the media onsite for the duration of the event. Partners will have the opportunity to connect with them during the Marketplace Meetings, as well as various times during other event activations.

How can I prepare for media interactions?
Destination Canada’s Business Events team will provide a thorough media briefing document and webinar for Partner Q&A in advance of Incentive Canada 2022.

How can I ensure my travels internationally into Canada go smoothly, especially at the Border?

To assist with your entry requirements into Canada, we have obtained a Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) clearance letter for Innovate Canada 2022. To facilitate speedy Border procedures it is recommended that all international attendees have a copy of this letter ready for presentation to the CBSA Border Services Officer upon their arrival to Canada. It is available HERE for download.
